I did a lot of sketching trying to find compositions that would work individually and a set.
Originally, the troll was a human decker, very up close. Afterwards I realized how much more the original rough sketch pose worked.
Perspective was a giant pain with such a wide angle. What started as a very straight linear construction eventually changed into a hand-drawn curved perspective grid. Took a lot of noodling, but the final result felt much more natural.
So many details! Colors were a struggle throughout the construction.
After many days of work, I'm finally able to start polishing.
A large dual poster made for Harebrained Schemes as a Kickstarter reward. I did a ton of work on the portraits for their Shadowrun games, and it was a great pleasure to construct this giant scene for them.
